    The research commission advises the director of the Inspé on scientific policy, in close connection with the research axes of the Structure Fédérative d'Etudes et de Recherche en Education de Provence (SFERE-Provence, FED 4238), with the needs for innovation and development of the training courses it provides, and in relation to the human resources attached to the research.

    The director may consult the research commission on questions relating to the individual management of the careers or services of teacher-researchers.

    The commission may be consulted when the opinion of the component is required or when the responsibility of the director is involved, either on the basis of his or her statutory powers, or on the basis of powers acquired by delegation from the university president.

    All the questions on which the research commission can be consulted are indicated in the internal regulations.


  • Composition

    The research commission is composed of the following members

    - the elected teacher-researchers on the CI (4 members) and the CCI (8 members);

    - the director of the Inspé, if he/she is not elected;

    - the deputy director in charge of research and international cooperation, if not elected

    - the assistant director in charge of research-training-field relations, if not elected

    - the director of the research federation FED 4238 SFERE-Provence (or his/her representative);

    - the heads of the colleges, if they are not elected.

  • Operation

    The director chairs the research committee. He/she sets the agenda and the schedule of meetings.

    The Research Commission meets as a committee restricted to the elected members who are competent to deal with questions relating to this body, status and grade.

    A member cannot take part in the deliberations if he/she is personally concerned.
