Following on from the international cooperation agreement signed on October 10, 2022 between Dakar's Centre régional de formation des personnels de l'éducation (CRFPE) and Aix-Marseille University's Institut national supérieur du professorat et de l'éducation (INSPÉ), a new milestone was reached with the official launch on November 14, 2025 of the "Cooperation in teaching and teacher training" project, supported by the French Embassy in Senegal.
Spearheaded by the CRFPE in Dakar, this ambitious project aims to strengthen pedagogical exchanges, professional practices and innovation in teacher training in both countries. It revolves around two communities of practice, which will be organized in Senegal and address themes at the heart of contemporary educational issues:
- "Plurilingualism and Artificial Intelligence
- "Fablab and artificial intelligence".
These collaborative work spaces will give participants the opportunity to explore innovative practices, share experiences and co-construct teaching resources adapted to local contexts.
A mobility component will enrich this cooperation. In March 2026, the Aix-Marseille INSPÉ will have the pleasure of welcoming ten student teachers from the CRFPE in Dakar. During their stay, these future teachers will take part in courses at the institute and meet with primary school students.
