The Inspé is fully in line with the European university alliance "CIVIS - a European Civic University" which brings together eight universities: Aix-Marseille University (Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, France), National and Capodistrian University of Athens (Athens, Greece), Université Libre de Bruxelles (Brussels, Belgium), University of Bucharest (Bucharest, Romania), Autonomous University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain), La Sapienza University of Rome (Rome, Italy), University of Stockholm (Stockholm, Sweden), and Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen (Tübingen, Germany). This alliance is coordinated by Aix-Marseille University. A delegation from the Inspé visited the Tübingen School of Education (TüSE) in October 2019 to explore avenues of collaboration between our two components. The Mediterranean area and Africa are at the heart of the global strategy of CIVIS which considers that the futures of Europe and Africa are interconnected. This is why CIVIS affirms its vocation as a bridge between Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa, within the framework of a long-term commitment. The will of inclusion permeates all actions, fully working towards gender equality, non-discrimination and social equality.
The deadline for submission of CIVIS calls for projects has been extended to 30 June 2020.
