M1 and M2 students in the Music Education and Choral Singing option spent a week in Hamburg from April 8 to 14, 2022.
Within the framework of the partnership between the Inspé of Aix-Marseille and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, the students went to meet another educational system and different ways of teaching music education.
The program alternated moments of classroom observation (in primary and secondary schools), joint seminars with the German students (comparison of educational systems), shared practice (choir rehearsals and end-of-stay concert), awareness-raising about cultural action in partnership (educational service of the Elbphilarmonie with a bonus visit to the great hall) and discovery of this magnificent northern German city.
Designed as an international training action, this trip was also an opportunity to establish very strong links with the partners, both on the student and teacher sides.
We will welcome our German counterparts in Aix en Provence from September 26 to October 3, 2022 in order to continue, in a semester rotation, these very impactful meetings in the professional construction of our students.
