Professionalization from the bachelor's degree onwards

Ces unités d’enseignement de licence articulent trois temps : l’information, la sensibilisation et la découverte des métiers cibles ; ces étapes organisent la construction du projet professionnel des étudiants qui choisissent de s’orienter dans ces voies. Elles prennent appui sur des stages en milieux professionnels -pas exclusivement dans le cadre de l'Education Nationale- qui permettent d’associer acquisition de connaissances et construction de compétences.  

Ces quatre UE mutualisées à toutes les licences des secteurs Sciences, ALLSH et FEG permettent une orientation active des étudiants et préparent aux UE du master MEEF orientées vers les savoirs sur les métiers d’enseignant, d’éducateur et la construction d’une culture professionnelle commune telle que définie dans le référentiel de compétences métiers.  

The UE Pro-MEEF 1 " Teaching, Educating, Training: complex jobs " in the second year of the licence (L2), in the first "semester (September to December 2019) or in the second "semester (January to May 2020), is an awareness-raising and orientation aid course. It is coupled with a 24-hour (4x6h) discovery internship that allows each student to apprehend the diversity of the professions in this field; it takes place in four different fields, within three National Education establishments (first degree, second degree college, second degree vocational college) and in another educational or training structure, outside National Education.

In the third year of the licence (L3), in the first "semester (September to December 2021) and in the second "semester (January to May 2022), two professional project development courses are offered to all students who have decided to pursue their orientation towards these professions.

The UE Pro-MEEF 2 " Observe teaching, education and training situations", in the first " semester (September to December 2021), is coupled with an internship of 24 hours, 12 hours in a school and 12 hours in any other structure outside of National Education; the places of internship are defined according to the professional project of the students, depending on whether they wish to become a school teacher (6 hours in primary school and 6 hours in secondary school), a secondary school teacher (6 hours in junior high school and 6 hours in vocational high school), with a differentiation between general, technological and vocational education, or a principal education advisor or a person in charge of training structures.

The UE Pro-MEEF 3 " Analyse teaching, education and training practices ", in the second "semester (January to May 2022), is coupled with an internship of 24 hours, 12 hours in a school and 12 hours in any other structure outside the National Education; the places of internship are defined according to the professional project of the students in the same way as for the UE Pro-MEEF2. The UE Pro-MEEF 3 is a deepening of the UE 1 and 2. Anchored in the professional realities experienced previously during the internships, it allows students to move from their analysis to a structuring of knowledge and skills on these target professions. It cannot be chosen in isolation.

The UE Pro-MEEF 3 " Analyse teaching, education and training practices ", in the second "semester (January to May 2022), is coupled with an internship of 24 hours, 12 hours in a school and 12 hours in any other structure outside the National Education; the places of internship are defined according to the professional project of the students in the same way as for the UE Pro-MEEF2. The UE Pro-MEEF 3 is a deepening of the UE 1 and 2. Anchored in the professional realities experienced previously during the internships, it allows students to move from their analysis to a structuring of knowledge and skills on these target professions. It cannot be chosen in isolation.

Ces UE sont proposées, en plus des UE Pro-MEEF mutualisées, dans toutes les L3 des composantes. Elles sont destinées aux étudiants souhaitant s’orienter vers le master MEEF, Mention 1, professorat des écoles. Complémentaires aux enseignements principaux de la licence support, elles permettent d’acquérir et d’assoir les bases nécessaires aux enseignements du master MEEF dans les disciplines concernées.  

De manière à renforcer les compétences nécessaires à l’enseignement dans le 1er degré en lien avec la polyvalence, des UE complémentaires sont proposées en L3 voire dès la L2 : 

•  Mathématiques (niveau 1 et niveau 2) et Sciences et technologie pour les étudiants suivant une mention de licence en Arts, Littérature, Langues et Sciences Humaines
• Français (niveau 1 et niveau 2) et Sciences Humaines pour ceux suivant une licence dans les mentions scientifiques.

Les étudiants du secteur ALLSH, ou d’un secteur proche, ont la possibilité de suivre des UE de Mathématiques et de Sciences expérimentales. À l’inverse, un étudiant du secteur Sciences reçoit des compléments en Français et Histoire-Géographie. 
Le contenu de ces UE porte sur les prérequis nécessaires aux enseignements du master MEEF, professorat des écoles. En lien avec les savoirs enseignés à l’école, les savoirs fondamentaux de références sont abordés dans un continuum L3-M2.
